Custom made for your project
At Maats, we understand that every project presents its own challenges and demands. That’s why we offer complete engineering and customisation services, tailoring each machine to meet your precise specifications and performance goals. From specialised attachments and modified designs to fully bespoke solutions, our dedicated team partners with you to create high-performance equipment that integrates effortlessly into your operations.
Engineering
The latest range of Maats hydraulic and internal bending machines is a testament to the company’s in-house engineering excellence.
A true reflection of Maats’ engineering expertise, the MAATS RL24 pipelayer remains a benchmark of reliability and performance. Now succeeded by the advanced Maats RL26, the Maats RL24 integrates Liebherr’s proven technology across its powertrain, electronics, and operator environment. Extensively re-engineered to meet Maats’ stringent standards, the Maats RL24 continues to serve in our rental fleet — and can still be produced on request when a suitable core machine, such as the Liebherr PR714 or John Deere 700J, is available.
The launch of the new Liebherr PR716 LGP bulldozer — the base platform for the Maats RL26 — has driven Maats engineers to embark on the development of an innovative multimachine and pipe carrier unit. While still in the early concept phase, both models hold significant potential for global application. Fully compliant with the latest emission and safety standards, these next-generation machines will be designed and manufactured entirely in-house by Maats.
Customising
At Maats, transforming standard base machines into specialised, high-performance equipment is a hallmark of our engineering expertise. Among our innovations are the Maats WR624 mobile winch — developed on a Liebherr track loader for stabilising drilling rigs in oil fields — and conveyor belt shifters designed from Liebherr pipelayers to handle the demanding task of repositioning belts safely and efficiently. Beyond full machine conversions, Maats also customises and re-engineers attachments, including tailored padders for pipelayers.
Support Services
Beyond supplying high-quality equipment, Maats provides a complete range of support services. Our on-site training programmes ensure your teams work with confidence and precision, while our commissioning and decommissioning services cover every stage of the equipment lifecycle. We also assist with transport and insurance arrangements, offering seamless project support and total peace of mind. These services are available for both rental and sales customers worldwide.
