Although we do not supply welding systems and consumables, we supply everything else you need for your welding spread. We have the welding tractors, internal and external line-up clamps and pipe facing machines.
The LIEBHERR welding tractors / paywelders can carry up to six welders. These welders are powered by a hydraulically powered generator with a capacity of 140 kVA (other capacities available). This generator is powered directly by the main engine of the welding tractor. A hydraulically powered compressor is also an option.
This compressor can be used to power an inernal pneumatic line-up clamp (IPLC). This clamp is used for exact alignment of pipe joints prior to welding.
In case these pipe joints have to be machined before welding, we can supply a pipe facing machine. This machine can be used to machine all common, and most complex bevels. For this machine, a hydraulic power unit is required.
