Pneumatic mandrels can be powered by a compressor on the Bending Machine or by a separate compressor.

The Bending Machine operator controls the Mandrel. Travel wheels raise from the pipe wall when the Mandrel is expanded.

Normally Bending Mandrels cover a certain range of diameters. Based on the received pipe specification, Maats can adjust the mandrel to the correct wall thickness.
