Bending machines are used to performed cold bending on a jobsite. A bending machine is suitable for a range of diameters, a seperate bending set is used to adapt the machine to the correct pipe diameter.

Hydraulic controls give the operator complete command of all bending machine operations from a convenient platform. A hydraulically driven winch moves the pipe through the machine. Pipe moves easily on contoured rollers.

Calibrated indicator rod allows the operator to make consistently uniform bends. A pin-up shoe automatically grips the pipe to prevent distortion.

The machine is capable of bending all grades of currently available API-5L pipe within its range. A final check however is mandatory, therefore we always request the exact pipe specifications in order to provide a suitable bending machine to the project.

The machine frame is constructed from high strength steel to give life without fatigue failure. Unitized construction makes for easy maintenance and repairs.

The towing eye is attached to the hydraulically actuated stiff-back and may be raised and lowered to facilitate attachment to the towing tractor, normally a side boom. This side boom is also used for feeding the pipe to the bending machine.

Depending on project specificatons, all bending has to be performed using a bending mandrel. Pipe bending machines, bending sets and bending mandrels are part of our fleet.
