After several rigorous tests in our yard in Goor, the Netherlands, our brand new Maats bending machine is on its "maiden" project. The machine, suitable for bending pipes from 22" through 36" is deployed on a project with heavy wall pipe. This 30" X80 pipe with a 30,8 mm. wall thickness is however no match for our bending machine, when used to its full capacities, the machine is able to bend 30" X80 a with wall thickness up to 50 mm. ! But the machine is not only strong, more importantly, it has a simple layout, making it both easy to operate and easy to service / maintain. Built with mainly LIEBHERR components, most parts have a proven track record in heavy construction machinery in various conditions around the globe. And for regular service or in the unlikely event of a technical problem, you can buy necessary parts from your local LIEBHERR representative, wherever in the world. As for the bending crew: the machine has an isolated motor compartment, making it very quiet, which is pleasant when you're working on or next to the machine for days in a row. Furthermore we have chosen not to have any high pressure hoses in the operator area, a simple idea, but making your day-to-day job a lot safer.
