Our biggest pipe layer, the RL64 with a capacity of 90 tons, is in great demand. This means that even during the holiday period, machines are picked up at the LIEBHERR factory in Telfs, near Innsbrück in Austria, to start their long journey to the customer. For a specialized company like Rachbauer from Salzburg, transporting loads the size of an RL64 (and bigger!) is a daily business. Seeing these machines on the road however, with a weight of a good 40 tons and a width of just under 3.5 m., it still is quite an impressive machine! Although transport goes by truck, train and ship to its final destination, the excellent communication between Maats, LIEBHERR and the logistic partner of our customer assures that the transport is a smooth operation, avoiding any delays in the process. Transport will not take any longer then necessary by making sure that all permits are arranged in time and by presentation of the full and correct documents at the customs authorities.
