From the 12th of September, LIEBHERR organised the LIEBHERR Profiseminar 2011 in an impressive scenery in Wertach (Germany). This event is for all LIEBHERR sales staff and consists of two day training sessions held in the German, English, French, Italian and Spanish language. In total about a 1.000 LIEBHERR sales specialists took part in this event.
This Profiseminar was for the EMtec division of LIEBHERR (EM for earthmoving), therefore LIEBHERR's broad range of earthmoving equipment was on display: wheeled and crawler loaders, wheeled and crawler excavators, crawler tractors as well as the TA 230 articulated truck and the telescopic handler. As Maats is the exclusive dealer for the LIEBHERR pipe layers, built in the same factory as the crawler loaders and crawler tractors, and the welding tractor that is based on a crawler tractor, we were also invited to take part in this 4 week event. This being an excellent opportunity to present Maats to the LIEBHERR sales organization, we decided to bring both a LIEBHERR RL44 pipe layer and a LIEBHERR SR714LGP welding tractor "to the party". With all the machines in one location, LIEBHERR uses this event also to invite its customers. During three days, another 1000 visitors came to the event, using the opportunity to test the various machines in a real life situation and get a good impression of the proven LIEBHERR quality. As people that are not especially in pipeline construction do not see pipe layers and welding tractors every day, the interest in our machines was significant.
